I thought this would be a fun topic for all to share the critters that come visit us from the wild. I love all things in nature. Here is just one of the many visitors we get in our backyard every night.
We named him Tyson. giggle!

Awesome! I would love to see pictures if you can get some, please post them. I think it is wonderful that all of God's creatures have learned to adapt to man taking over their homes. Even though some are destructive and pests.

It will be wonderful when God makes man and animals co-exist again in peace. Isaiah 65:21-25

We had a family of foxes several years back but the babies grew up and left. An occasional deer, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, possums, owls, hawks, finches, doves--lots of birds. There are coyotes around but I've never seen one close to my house. I have a neighbor who has seen one. Once my neighbor spied some bald eagles in my oak tree. They are here during the winter in large numbers.

We have squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, deer, coyotes, and wasps! Really could do without the last 2.

Marsha, this is really a good topic. The wildlife we get in our yard: different kind of deer, skunks, huge rabbits, grey and red foxes, bees, armadillos, road runners, the neighbors cat (even though they have told me the cat NEVER gets out of their back yard), lots of birds, hummingbirds.

Wow! You must have a blast watching all their activities. The possums and raccoon are not afraid of people anymore so we can put on the porch light and watch them. If our Yorkie barks at them that is when they run off. I'll try to snap a pic of the raccoon next time he comes around. We too have tons of birds. The Sandhill Crane is the one I love the most. They bring their babies around to show off and teach how to catch bugs. I also have lots of butterflies because I have tons of flowers in my yard of all kinds. Not to mention the bees. I have a rain tree and when it is in bloom the bees flock to it and the buzzing is amazing to hear.

Hard for me to get good pictures -- especially at night -- but we have foxes, opossum, deer, squirrels, about a million chipmunks, groundhogs, raccoons -- not sure what else is lurking out there! I do know that we are NOT in a bear area. The bird life is gloriously varied here in SE PA, as well.
