Posted - Oct 30 2013 : 08:39:57 AM I understand completely. When our kids were still home they had chickens for 4-H and the favorite roosting spot was in our semi open entryway. One daughter especially loved her ducks and dreamed of inventing duck diapers so they could come into the house. There is such a peace about having farm animals around.

Posted - Oct 30 2013 : 08:25:39 AM Susan, I have one older hen always trying to get in the house. So when I open the back door the dog is running out and a chicken is running in. Makes life very interesting.
