I'm about to put the doors on my new coop and start on the inside and it occurred to me that I have no idea how high to make the perches.
I was thinking about three feet , what do you think? That sound about right?

Thanks! I want to be able to remove the roosts for cleaning, I'm still working that out so that they're steady enough.

My roosts are on hinges. When I clean the coop I hook them up and can clean underneath. Mine are a good 3 feet off the ground. Would have to go out and measure it though. I used saplings for the roosts.
