Posted - Jul 26 2013 : 2:36:43 PM Last Sunday, we adopted a new baby in the family...a bunny! She's a pet rabbit, not a meat rabbit. She is a lop ear. So sweet. My dd named her Patches. She's seven months old. Photos and more later... Our first "farm" animal.

Posted - May 14 2014 : 8:25:18 PM Here's an updated photo of our little bun.

I think the fur on top of her head looks like Tina Turner. She is a sweetie!
Thanks for the nice compliment about the blog, Marly!

Posted - Jul 26 2013 : 5:51:43 PM Hi Nicole! Congratulations on Patches! We have a lop too, her name is Riley. We have had her for about a year and a half now. Sheis an outdoor rabbit that lives in a huge double hutch, and I use her fertilizer for all my gardens! We too just got another new rabbit. We adopted I'm from Petland, the local pet store. Someone brought him and his big 2 level rabbit condoning because they could no longer keep him. We named him Leeroy. He is about a year old and is a lion head rabbit. Slowly but surely we are adding to our mini farm! Lol Good luck with Patches. They may great pets! Hugs,
