I just love Meggaroonie thats Jennifers nickname for Meg. She is such a sweet wonderful dog. She is one of the cutest beagles I have ever been around and has the personality to match. Her mama Dolly is a sweetie too.

Since we are sharing pup pictures, I thought I would share one of mine. This is Meg, my beagle. I have both her mom and dad here and love them to death. Meg is such a character, I just cant type all of it. But, Linda knows all about her.. :) She is my shadow! And I love the pics of your guys dogs too. :)

Betty....because life is short, we should fill it with as much love and joy as possible. I hope that you soon find another dog to love and share your life with!

Pam, I do believe you are onto something. Penny was the first done I have ever had. I am now 71 and seriously wonder if another dog will outlive me. She was the kindest, most sensitive dog. I do hope that I will be able to find another saluki mix like her. She was unusual.

Thank you for your kind words.

Romeo is a handsome guy. And Penny was a beauty...I see the love in her eyes as she was looking at you taking the picture, Betty. Dogs should live as long as we do, but it seems that we are destined to love several dogs across the span of our lifetime.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

He is so cute. My sister and niece both have Danes. They are a handful, but worth it.

I met a pair of Newfoundlands yesterday that my son and daughter-in-law are taking care of while the family is out of town. Whoa, are they big dogs and so lovable. Of course they slobber a lot.

I miss my sweet Penny who died in February. She was the love of my life and I miss her dearly.

Hi again! Thanks for all the nice replies... and warm welcomes... I love my danes. I am in to knitting alot.. I have been going to a class in Russleville, Ohio for some time.. had to take a break for awhile due to having my husbands son for awhile.. he is not a child, but still needed some guidance, and of course I had alot of stress and work. I plan to go back in the fall and do a craft that I dearly love. I have met some awesome friends there... Mary, Lisa, Dorothy just to name a few.. What would I do without my dear friends.. I have a friend Linda that I consider a family member more than anything.. we talk all the time and she is always there for me and vice versa.. she is a great person... and really loves her nubian dairy goats.. she has a awesome dog Toby.. he just had some serious surgery and is in recovery at her home.. I have been praying alot so he gets better... and through prayer and faith I know God will help... We have a farm in Blue Creek Ohio.. we came from Cinti. Ohio in 1998.. we love the country.. My mom said I would say that I wanted a farm when I was very little.. and here I am! Farm Life! Nothing any better for me! I like puttin up veg. from our garden and I don't mind getting mud under my finger nails... there is nothing better than the smell of good rich soil... I have a son that is living in Cinti. his name is Jason... he has finally grown up and is a responsible adult. He is an assistant manager of the Subway near the Beach Water Park. I am so proud of him... what a stuggle to get him this far.. but the end result is so rewarding... Lisa drop me a line anytime.... laura
