Eight Chinese Browns and they are so cute. The post office called at 6:45 am for me to come and pick up my goslings. I got there and told them my name, the clerk had a box of chicks sitting on the counter but they weren’t mine. The other lady shows up as I am walking away, of course, we ask what the other has, she had ducklings, and we had to look in each other’s box to see them. She had some tiny red chickens in her box and was upset, she was sure she had accidently ordered them, but her husband does not want chickens, so she gave them to me. I offered to pay her $2.00 each, since she did not know what they were, or if they were sexed. She said no, but could she have my phone number since this her first time to raise baby birds. I said sure, after all where would I be without the people who have helped me over the years.

Aw :) Nice! If she didn't remember ordering them, I bet you those chicks are males and were just in there to keep the ducklings warm... free meat birds, though!

Would love to see pics of your babies :) Geese are one of the few things we don't have!
