Our first jersey calf arrived today!!!

Puddin' Pie & baby are under 3 heat lamps in our insulated barn. It's bitterly cold here with a terrible wind chill.

Mom is doing great being a first timer & baby has drank.
There's nothing better......well maybe just one little tiny thing.........

IT'S A GIRL!!!!! IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! Oh, did I mention IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!

3 more calves can arrive any time! Keep your fingers crossed! BUSY days ahead!
ALL the hard work just melts away seeing a new life on the farm
These are special babies to us since we're beef & sheep producers.

PS...will take pics when camera stops freezing up. GRRRRRR!
