Posted - Jan 06 2013 : 05:37:30 AM My friend and I were sharing our excitement over our newborn goats at each of our farms. We laughed and commented on how just her and I can truly share the excitement and understand each other....that our other friends would just roll their eyes at our silliness.
We continued our humorous chat and shared how we should have special goat blessings....
"And may your goat's milk bag be balanced" (us goat people don't want our mom's to have lopsided bags)
"And may your goat's teats be full"
"And may the kids suckle both sides"
One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt." |

Posted - Jan 06 2013 : 3:41:45 PM I have a few friends and we talk the same way. We send pictures to each other. I call them my goat friends. You're right, no one else would get it.
You'll have to post pics of your new kids. I've got 2 due in Feb.

Posted - Jan 06 2013 : 07:47:46 AM Baby goats are devine! I have a goat farm nearby that I buy soap and cheese from. They are kidding for the next couple of months and invited me and my DH to come and help out to get first hand experience! I am so excited to witness a baby goat being born! I can just imagine you two talking on the phone! What a fun conversation that must have been!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.
