Posted - Nov 04 2012 : 3:30:18 PM In case anyone is interested in some heritage breed meat/pelt rabbits, these guys are so docile and a real joy to have.
They have been bred so that they are the only 1.5-2 inch haired rabbits whose fur will stand when brushed tail-to-head instead of lying back down on its own. This is to resemble the Arctic Fox pelts for the fur market.
These babies are pedigreed, from great parents, and they are all blue carriers (dam is Blue- which is just a diluted black, genetically).
I have the full album with each bun, weight, gender, and pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.171980159606749.38778.171976656273766&type=1
