It took them exactly less than 24 hours to kill it. I mean, it's flatter than a fritter. Laying out there, dead'ern a doornail.

They did have fun with it for a while. Samthebigredhorse tried to bite it, then lean on it. So curious, was he!! Leo, my big brave half-Arab, stood back and let Sam-Sam take the lead... Heh... Love those two horses!!

Haha such cute stories! And a chicken ball never heard of such a thing. I'll have to get one for my chickens.

I tried giving my Tala a jolly ball but she isn't interested in it. She only chased the dog once she go it and played with it. Silly horse. I have a link to a video of it somewhere.

I've had more than one ball stomped flat in my corrals and pastures, I also give them the big orange construction cones, and small wheelbarrel rubber tires, they love them also, someone threw all big ballon in my pasture one day, it was a 15 minute rodeo till Jake my quater mare who was very much the alpha decieded to sneak up on it and rear and strike at it, when it popped, you would have thought a cannon went off by her reaction, thankful they were in the pasture, so they could all flee from the monster, lol...

I dragged the ball's sorry carcass out and will get a picture of it. Very sad but died in the line of duty...so says my Leo and Samthebigredhorse.

Hope you don't mind if I share with you, about my chickens, I bought them a toy ball, that opens up and you fill with scratch, its bright yellow, and chickens are curious about red and yellow. So I filled it and rolled it into the yard. They all stood back, then curious hen, came forward, and pecked it around and they all attacked it. It was so funny 30 chickens after a little yellow ball. Then that night it disappeared, I found it on the rode to the lake with tons of little raccoons feet prints all around in the sand. Guess that wanted to play to. They love it, I can't keep it filled. altho I do pick it up at night now. Thanks for letting me share. Farmgirl #946 Linda

Heh...I found an apple toy for them, I'd forgotten I had. It's the big plastic apple that's supposed to hang and the horse bats it around. Well, my boys said no, not battin' it. So, I tossed it out in the middle of the corral and left it.

After some tip-toe stuff, they got down to serious play. Batted it here and there. They were smart enough to roll it all over, too. Little lines in the sand going every which way!!

My boys are so silly!! Loves them!!

How cute! I saw a horse once play with a ball for hours by holding it with a rope that was tied to it about 2 ft long and just swing it around. Maybe one would last longer like that. I should get some toys for my stallions to play with.

I bought my boys a big ball too. Do you remember the one that has the handle that you hold on to when you sit on it and bounce? They loved it but it didn't last long either! Then I put my exercise ball out there and it disappeared. I think they kicked it outside the fence and someone drove by and took it. Isn't that crazy? HaHa!
