Your Lauria sounds incredible. I know she gives you great comfort and you to her.. For the past two months my hens are glued to my feet when I am outside and it is a race to get in the shop without them all coming in. Not sure why they are so clingy right now - never been like that before. Give a hug to Lauria from this old hen.

Thank you hens...its been a bit sad around here as I sure do miss his morning crows......I am so thankful for each chicken that comes into my life...as I write Lauria, my crooked neck hen is laying on the floor near me...she follows me where ever I go if she can....she naps while i type on the computer...lol...its like having a fluffy feathered tiny puppy always at my side.....I know Porgie is now again with his Bess & the others that passed before him so I know he is safe & happy to see those he has missed & probably driving all the animals up in pet/animal heaven crazy with his morning crows which I always loved to hear.......Michele"

RIP sweet porgie, take solance with the knowledge that he will be waiting for you, and is crowing the angels awake every sunrise...every animal ever to pass on my place, is buried and has some sort of headstone, and after 40 plus years, there's quite a few...

Dear One - you know I hold you in my heart, prayers and am wrapping my arms around you. I know words will never touch the pain so I stand next to you in tears, pain and in the knowing that you spent the time with him in love...

Michelle,
I am so sorry to see this post, and I totally agree with some of the other gals- Porgie was so lucky to have such a wonderful human to own him. Losing any one of our pets is just heartbreaking, no matter if it is a chicken, dog, horse, goat- they all hurt just the same!
Hugs to you,

Michele, I just saw this. I am so sorry for your loss. They all bring us special joys don't they? He was a handsome boy, I know you will miss him very much. Know he couldn't have had a better Momma hen!

Oh a serama, those are so cool! I have a little old english game bantam hen that is sooo tiny and I know how you feel about him. She is like a little bird. Those little tiny ones are so amazing and seramas are shaped so pretty too. I feel your loss girl.

thank you dear hens so much, it broke my heart for him to go...he is one of the Serama (sp?)breeds, the tiniest breed of chickens....I told hubby if I ever saw another I was getting them since they are truely a joy to have. He was my roo I kept in the house for the sick & injured hens since I knew he was a gentle soul & would be good to them......I am so thankful I can post him here & know there are hens out there that will be there for me....you all know what its like to lose a pet or animal so understand that even a tiny roo can be so hard to say goodbye to.....thank you very much for your words as I know they are true & you mean them.....xoxo...Michele'
