These are 6 horses we bought a couple of months ago. Projects my 3 adult daughters and I are working on, and of course Hubby does his part too. They have been raised on the range mostly and still have their winter coats, so they don't really look like much in these pictures. They look much nicer already (fatter and shinier)and are coming along very well in their gentling and training. 3 babies and a four yr old greenbroke and a 3 yr old. The white appy mare is new too. But she's the mom to one of them and is going to stay as a broodmare.

Yes they are still growing, but they are jacked up in the back because they are have bloodlines bred for racing and power. That's a Hemi motor in the back...LOL The gray with the white blaze is a registered paint, the bay with the blaze is a San Peppy QH, all 4 of the others have the same Appaloosa sire, the sorrel from a morgan mare, the dark bay with the star and snip is from a Tennessee Walker mare and the Few spot (white) colt is from the fewspot (white) mare. Fewspots bred to anything will make spotted babies. These having genes for all 3 patterns varnish, blanket and leopard. And yes it is wonderful to have my very talented daughters working them. However they are a bit on the strong willed side which makes for all kinds of female drama around here. Still fun though...lol

Love the dark bay youngun with the star, he's quite the cutie!! But they're all very striking horses, good on you for what you do for these beautiful animals!

Wow Laura, what beautiful horses. I am very intrigued, and give you kudos as Sherrye said- to be able to have the knowledge to train them and be fortunate enough to have your children share your interest. Lucky you and lucky horses to have such a wonderful home! Thank you for sharing your picture/story.
Hugs,

~Laurie
