I'm trying to word this a veiled as possible so please bear with me here. But, to anyone in those states who go to livestock auctions where horses and gooseneck stock/horse trailer are sold. Has anyone noticed any 'strange' g/n trailers with odd license plate? Or maybe F-250 that look like they've had recent body work?? Also, were there a sudden glut of horse items, such as wraps, brushes, hoofpicks, bell boots, etc at the sale??

If anyone has seen anything, could you let me know through email or here? I don't have to know your screen/real names, just need to know if something like the above happened so someone else can check it out. Such as which sale and possible date.

Here is a picture and all pertinent info she sent me. She got the horse back at least! It's a convoluted story!! The alleged 'borrower' is someone all of thought we knew very well. Such a shock to everyone! At first no one would believe it was our 'friend' and kept thinking the screen names were messed up. Perhaps someone misunderstood which name went to what person. Nope, didn't seem that way, after all.

Goes to show, even though you think you know someone over the internet, you never know if they are real/responsible or not. Sad to say...

I think the trailer is white. The tags would probably be NM as it was kept registered. I'll send her a pm and see if it is NM or another state.

Well, piddle. I'm doing something wrong. If you see something, email me at goneriding24@hotmail.com. I haven't checked today to see the latest, but every little bit helps.

Thanks, y'all. I thought I had email link on here, guess not. I'll try to 'open' it.

This situation is kind of like closing the barn door after the horse is gone but at least the horse was found. Now, the folks are trying to follow up to find the rest of the things.

Not my horses or things, just trying to pass the word along.

I am in CO, but do not go to auctions (already have seven, Hubby would KEEL me iffn I brought home anymore) but our trimmer goes regularly. I will ask him if he noticed anything unusual.

Hi Winona, I haven't seen anything but I will keep an eye out. We go to a lot of horse shows and barrel races. I wasn't able to send you an e-mail because I do not see that option. But if you want you can email me pictures or any details and I can ask around and post some pics at the feed stores for you.
