Posted - Feb 28 2012 : 8:51:00 PM Wow, it has been awhile since I have posted anything! Well we had our first baby born this year and it is a pretty little filly. She waited to arrive till my DH got home from out of town. Not sure how momma held on that long because he was 7 hours away and she was already dripping milk the night before. I camped out in our horse trailer and watched momma all night on the tv (we have cameras in our stalls). I was exhausted but was so excited that she waited for hubby to make it home in time to help pull the baby out. She was a big baby. Here is a photo of her and I on her birthday, Valentine's Day!

Posted - Mar 01 2012 : 3:40:53 PM Oh my gosh! Ya'll are all so sweet. I was so tired in this photo. Was up for 2 days waiting on this pretty girl. The hoof art is awesome. I am not a good artist like that but would be fun to try! I have some bigger girls I can try it on one day. Still don't have to go from my doc to do a whole lot yet with the horses(back surgery).

Posted - Feb 29 2012 : 06:10:55 AM That is so cool on the name thing! Makes it all more meaningful and special.
And she is just so beautiful. I've never actually been around such a small one and it just pulls at my heartstrings.

Posted - Feb 29 2012 : 06:00:11 AM Thank you very much! No, I haven't picked a name yet. I have a friend from Syria that helps me pick out names for all my horses. We have Straight Egyptian Arabians and they are very special so I like to give them special names. Sometimes it takes me months to pick out the right one. I want to give her one that has to do with Valentines day though. She is so cute and just full of energy and very very friendly.
