Posted - Feb 09 2012 : 2:11:39 PMI was just wondering how many FG Great Dane owners we have? Our first was a harlequin she lived to be almost 12. We now own a black. She is 2. They are such large "lap dogs". This one drags her blanket around like Linus on Charlie Brown. Makes you laugh watching her come down the hall with the blanket dragging between her legs.
Don't forget to laugh!

Posted - Feb 09 2012 : 4:54:06 PMunfortunately i no longer own a dane -or am owned by one- but i had the pleasure of having two different ones- trinity was almost 9 when she came to live with us- suffered terribly from seperation anxiety but was a tue lady!! she died in my hubby's arms in 2007 while i was in dallas. vet thinks she turned her stomach. a year ago last Christmas, i had to put brody down- he was such a loverboy but was having issues....he was about 6 i think- he had been a rescue and had seen some horrible things as a pup; he gave so much love.i miss them both horribly. they both thought that they were lap babies! my cockapoo, roxie, lived with brody and she thought she was one of the big dogs!!!!!
