I have a large bag full of turnips. I am going to give the greens to my chickens. Is it ok to give the turnip to my hogs? If so, should I cook them first like I do with potatoes? I always cook potatoes before I feed them to my hogs. Just curious.

Thanks, Sherrye. I have been on a very steep learning curve for the past few years. My hogs love veggies and fruit. I had just never given them turnips. I am just learning and researching and asking and learning. :)

Do you raise your pigs for meat?
