Posted - Jan 14 2012 : 12:02:02 PM I love guinea pigs! I had one in grade school and she would ride in my bicycle basket. I can still see her little ears flapping in the wind as she stuck her nose out! |

Posted - Jan 14 2012 : 08:16:42 AM Thank you ladies, they are sure nice to have as pets, they make great pets for children,I worked for awhile in a pet store and I would often steer people away from buying hamsters, gerbils or rabbits for thier kids and would instead urge them to buy guinea pigs, they are so much fun and I love all thier little vocal sounds. Raven is going to keep one pig in particular and then the others will be 4-H projects, there's a very active guinea pig project going in our 4-H club so they will all get good homes with enthusiastic 4-Hers. We have another litter we're anxiously awaiting from the handsomest black and white male Spartan and Creampuff who is a tri-colored guinea pig,Raven can't hardly wait.

Posted - Jan 13 2012 : 9:50:05 PM Oh! They are so cute! My first pet was a guinea. Named him Easter since I got him for my birthday the day before Easter. I still remember his little Squeeee to! And chortles! And the way his feet felt against my hands. Nice pets for kids! What are you going to do with all those babies?

Posted - Jan 13 2012 : 9:08:11 PM Aww, sweet! I had a guinea pig years ago and would love the little "squeee" sound it made whenever it knew I was home. Smart little things!
