Posted - Nov 15 2011 : 2:40:57 PM Did anyone else see the news on Cesar Milan's website about the poor elephant whose best friend was a dog and the dog was killed by coyotes? My daughter and I cried at this story. We followed their story for a while now, and even read a child's book about them. Humans could learn from their amazing friendship and unconditional love. The link to the story is here:http://www.cesarsway.com/newsandevents/dognews/Tarra-the-Elephant-and-Bella-the-Dog?utm_source=mobilestorm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BellaTarra

Posted - Nov 20 2011 : 2:13:05 PM Sorry girls, didn't mean to rattle everyone. I just thought it was sad that the elephant lost her special friend. Their bond was so unique and wonderful.

Posted - Nov 15 2011 : 3:04:36 PM The story I read last week from their monthly e-mail news, that I get stated natural causes by the sanctuary, I wonder why they changed the story, as I find it hard to beleive that coyotes could get to her with her elephant friend by her side at all times...sad, either way...

Posted - Nov 15 2011 : 3:00:45 PM No, actually, it's a true story, it's on their own Hohenwonwald Tennessee sanctuary site. The interview an story is done by CBS.The poor dog was apparently killed by coyotes. I doubt the sanctuary would have the story aired if it didn't happen that way. Here's the link:
