I have Nubians and Nigerians and wouldn't know what to do without them though like Kristin,I have moments too when their disobediences provoke my temper and I want to kick their butts!
They do give us so much and greatly enhance our lives, goats and goat people are a very unique relationship in this world.

Thank you all for the comments. I am glad to know that their are others who are addicted to these sweet, busy, little creatures, too. I also have had Nubian goats in the past and can say I dearly loved them. Oh, Laura is my daughter. I am Theresa. Thanks again may the Lord keep you.

Come and visit Kentucky's Yesterday's Farm and I have a blog there too. At www.yesterdaysfarm.weebly.com

Love the blog, Laura, thanks for sharing :)

Oh I love my dairy ladies, but yes, they can act up and be rather annoying at times, Kris!

Jeanie loves to step in the grain pan and flip it over. Talk about aggravating when you're trying to keep feed OFF the ground! Ah well, I love them anyway :) We put the pan in an old tire now, gotta be smarter than what you're working with!

Laura, thank you for sharing your goats. Now I feel guilty. I was just out feeding mine and they were horrible little buggars and I got a little mad at them. Sometimes they are a little too much for me to handle. When they jump up on the gates and knock food out of my hands. Maybe mine are the only ones that do that, I don't know. Some days are just like that here. But most are good days and they are good. I will try not to lose my temper with them after reading your sweet story.

I love my milk goats! I have Nubians! Wouldn't trade them for the world!
