My little cockatiel, Koko, and I celebrated out eighteenth anniversary yesterday. He was about seven weeks old when I brought him home. He whistles and talks and likes to tell everyone what a pretty bird he is. He also gives kisses. He's the sweetest little feathered friend there is. I also have a parakeet who's not very tame but he's a good bird, too. They both live in my kitchen, since it gets a lot of sunlight. Boxer is real good with them and never tries to hurt them. He once picked up one of my parakeets in his mouth but he didn't hurt it. i love my little avian friends. Birds just seem to make the world brighter.

Congratulations! You must be quite a mom to keep him healthy and happy all this while. Hope he got a nice millet treat or something else equally yummy.

Don't go with the flow...you are the flow.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Happy Birthday to your feathered friend! I didn't even know cockatiels could live so long! You must take very good care of him :)
