Jenny, I just have to pass along what DH said...I know that ya'll don't know him but he is very funny most of the time. He said to tell you that not to worry about Mona, she will come back with a SMILE on her face....

Jenny, when I took Mazie last year to the bull down the road, I could call her name no matter where they were, and she would come running to me. Every time. It was so sweet. And she was there about 2 1/2 months. She will always be my baby cow. And Mona will always remember you.

glad she is a happy cow. we moved our girls yesterday. i am milking in pasture now i miss them being here close. soon you will have a happy mom and baby. sherrye

Babies always remember their Mommy no matter how old they are!!! Jenny I am sure Mona was thrilled to see you. Great that it is so easy to check on her but I know she will be fine... Hugs and enjoy the lack of work because you soon will be back in the routine. Blessings and Hugs

I went over and saw Mona yesterday. She is in a sweet little pasture with the young bull and two heifers. She looked good, although she was glad to see me and came right over to the fence.( I would have been devastated if she hadn't...I have to admit) He is a cute dark brown bull....jersey/angus cross and seemed calm. It is a nice place and well cared for and I was able to drive right up close so it will be easy to go check on her anytime...that makes me feel better. Still..it is weird to go outside and not have her there!
