After moving to KY I think I've finally found a horse to adopt! He's a TB gelding that does western AND english-I'm supposed to go out and ride him this afternoon (Barring bad weather) and I'm just so excited I can't hardly stand it! I've missed having horses so much and I'm super excited!

I wish I had room for all of them. I'm now on the lookout for just some pasture-pets. Horses that either aren't broke or are just too old or have injuries that people just want to find new homes for. We've got so much land I want to help as many horses as possible escape the trip to Mexico or Canada.

Both of my horses are adopted from Emerald Valley Equine Assistance in Eugene Oregon. It has been a very positive experience for me. I have even fostered for them most years since. I love it. Good for you for finding your gelding. May you have many miles of Happy Trails!

What a lucky horse! I know he will be so happy with you, Megan. You are so right. God is good!

We have a horse rescue not too far away. There are about 30 horses there right now. And they can be adopted.

We're leaving to go get him soon. I went out and bought a new lunge whip and some other stuff I gave away when my last horse had to be put down. I'm so excited I can hardly handle it! I've been praying and praying for God to bring about the right horse for the right money, and praise God from whom all blessings flow! :)

Megan, I hope this horse works out for you. He sounds like a very versatile guy. How tall is he? What color? How old? We need more details!!
