Posted - Jun 17 2011 : 8:17:08 PM I have a tro of angoras and a tro of minny fuzzy lops. it has been getting really warm around here, and a lady mentioned to me to shear my rabbits kinda like a sheep. has any one tried this? will it hurt the fiber of the angora? really thinking that it may be the way to go on the lops, their hair mats really easy and i brush them all the time....
thanks for any advise

Posted - Jun 17 2011 : 8:23:29 PM I used to use scissors to shear mine and it worked fine. Just be careful with their super thin skin..cuts easily. Don't pull out on the fur as you cut! You probably already know that. I miss my angoras. My daughter raises mini lops now..nothing very fuzzy.
