Posted - Jun 03 2011 : 4:42:03 PM I have tried everything on my little dog to keep the woodticks off of her. Nothing is working. I can't get her to the groomers for a 'shave' for another 2 weeks. The tick stuff you squeeze between the collar bone gave her an allergic reaction, the tick powder isn't working and she picks at the tick collars and cries (she never wears a collar).
Help any natural solutions? We are the start of woodtick season and this our first year in the country. She LOVES running free, but I have been keeping her inside because she come in with so many woodticks.....

Posted - Jun 03 2011 : 6:00:49 PM orange oil will kill a snake in a minute (bad bad experience). I've posted on here in a couple of other threads the natural bug spray that we use here that works exceptionally well and have not had any side effects on any of us or our critters.

Posted - Jun 03 2011 : 4:53:23 PM orange oil will help deter them, you can get it at vitamin stores, and natural food stores, smells good, and I have yet to see an animal have any reaction to it, you can also use it on yourself, helps with fleas and mosquitos also...
