Today my sweet little rabbit Oreo died. He came into my life when I was10 years old and he was my very first pet. He was pretty special because when he was born his mother, brothers, and sisters died and he and his brother were the only one's who survived. When his mom died he was put in with a foster mom but she didn't like him so she chewed on his ears. I'm going to miss that little guy! He was my best friend.

Oh, Lil Sis, so sorry to hear. It is such a sad thing when we lose a pet. Oreo was lucky to have a home with you!

Hannah, I am so sorry about you sweet Oreo. Losing a member of the family like a pet can be so heartbreaking. He will always be with you and remembering all the good times will help you get through this. Marji has a good thought. Put a picture on your dresser and he will be with you in spirit.

Hannah, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. When you love those little babies it is really hard to let them go.
If you have a great picture of him, put it out on your dresser. That way he will be with you always in spirit.

You didn't lose a pet, you lost a member of your family. Please know thar I am grieving with you, and deeply understand and feel your loss. Keep your chin up. Remember his soft little body,and cherish the memories. He's hopping around heaven hanging out with my schnauzer, and rolling in the grass

So sorry, Maggie. I'm sad with you. Our first pets forever mark our lives--I still think about my "Sammy", a cat that all other cats have to live up to. He's had a long and wonderful life, full of love because he was yours.

Hannah, my heart goes out to you. I know how you feel as I had a bunny for 6yrs and was my constant companion who greeted me with "bunny talk" and licks. A suggestion for you; write down in a journal all that you can now. As time goes by you can always pull it out and read it to give you "warm fuzzies".

Thank you all so much! I just miss him so much. He always brightend my day with his gentle ways and his love of life. I swear nothing could break that little bunnies love of life. Love you George ( I always called him George for some reason. lol!) aka Oreo!

Hannah, that's a long time to have a pet rabbit. You gave him a wonderful happy rabbit life. I am sure he died happy. You are such a great animal person.
