Posted - Mar 26 2011 : 10:27:26 AMWe used old gallon size ice cream buckets and tied our goats inside the barn door. I'd sit on a 5 gallon bucket with the goat standing in the door and milk that way.

Posted - Mar 25 2011 : 4:12:50 PMI got my stainless steel buckets from Tractor Supply in the dog section. They are dog water buckets. I love them. They are just the right size for each goat. Then I went ahead and bought the big 4 gallon tote from Hoeggar. Very handy thing to have when all the goats are giving good milk. I just dump it all in the tote and put that in a bucket of ice water while milking. It has a lid too.
