Posted - Feb 28 2011 : 12:34:38 PM I have always wanted to have a chicken coop w/ several egg laying hens. I thought I'd have to live on a farm, but recently realized many suburbanites have coops. I belong to the site: http://www.backyardchickens.com/ Backyard Chickens
any other ideas, tips, suggestions, phoos of your chickens and coops is gratefully accepted.

Posted - Feb 28 2011 : 2:24:10 PM There is tons of info on the internet. "Keeping Chickens Newsletter" is a monthly publication I get by email and it has been helpful. You will love keeping chicks, it's good for your mental health!

Posted - Feb 28 2011 : 1:09:26 PM Back Yard Chickens is a great site! I'm NakPakChick on there, but I haven't logged on in ages. :) There's also lots of pictures and tips on My Pet Chicken. I ordered my silver laced wyandottes and buff orpingtons from My Pet Chicken last summer, they were great to work with.
You can find pics of my girls on my blog :)
