Posted - Nov 17 2010 : 2:06:59 PM Thought I'd share pics of our little sunflower seed thief. I had harvested my sunflowers and laid the heads by our spruce tree in the sun to dry. As you can see, this little creature is packing the seeds away. Fun to watch!!! Thanks for looking!! CJ

Posted - Nov 19 2010 : 6:57:31 PM Melody, We used to have an American Pointer dog (male) who was antagonized by a squirrel . . he would try to chase him, but it always ran up a tree. It was funny to watch!!! Squirrels live in our neighborhood . . . along with all sorts of other critters!!! I think they're here to stay! CJ

Posted - Nov 17 2010 : 8:06:04 PM Nini----We can't even whisper the word squirrel in our house because Truman goes into a barking frenzy!
One year Bruce decided to feed "the poor little starving things" (yeah right!)The following summer our neighbor had CORN growing in their yard...She told me she just couldn't figure out how that happened-I kept my mouth SHUT! Needless to say we no longer feed them-LOL

Posted - Nov 17 2010 : 7:54:32 PM Watch out MammaCrunch, my mom liked to attraact the squirrles to her yard, she would leave out nuts for them, untill one day she ran out and the little bugger jumped onto her backdoor screen and would not leave, she soon stopped feeding them! LOL
I have to admit Ceejay, those are some cute photos!! I also enjoy watching the squirrls.
