Mine is about to fall apart and I think something is getting in at night and scaring the girls. I started looking at new coops, and was wondering if anyone has bought a coop from "My Amish Goods"? They are pricey, but look sturdy. And at this point it woould be better to buy one than to wait to get one built, if ya know what I mean!!
Any advice would be helpful, thank you, Carol

Hi Carol - since I had no building skills what so ever and it was just me and my two very young sons I decided on purchasing 14 years ago a Tuff Shed. It is a really big one with double doors, two windows, air vents and great construction. I have loved every minute of it for my chickens and they have tons of room, safe from preditors and you can customize it any way you wish. I do not know what the other one costs but I purchased mine at a special show price for $1,500.00. Now I know that sounds pricey but it has held up like iron housed hundreds of birds and still going strong. Also if I ever sell the place this building can be used for anything the new owners would wish. Oh did I mention I have electricy and the water pump is right outside it so doing the winter chores is a breeze. Good luck on your selection and let us know what you picked.
