These are my 2 boys. The bay pinto is Scout, and he must be about 30 yrs. now. We adopted him almost 2 years ago.
The buckskin pinto is my darling Almucantar "Quigley". He will be 2 this month. He's a paso fino, and they grow slowly so his training consists of ground work for at least the next year.

The funny part of having a senior horse and a youngster is how contagious "play" can be. It is good for both of them to have each other.

He looks a bit terrifying in this photo, but he really is a cream puff. I would love to know what he was thinking at that moment.

MaryJane was sweet enough to publish the story about my boys in last fall's magazine (Aug./Sept.). They are doing very, very well and they bring me all sorts of reasons to smile.

We make a difference.

They are both very handsome horses. And they look very happy. I love horses but really don't have space for one here.

I think he is thinking how great it is to be a horse and have a friend to play with. I love to see horses look this happy after working at a rescue and seeing so much sadness in their eyes. Your guys are beautiful. Your buckskin makes me think of mine Colonel Montgomery Dunbar aka Butthead. Thanks for sharing.
