well most of you remember the belted steers on the run in the snow storm post. well one more time. went to son eriks to drop off chop saw. they are putting up the greenhouses. they were a gift to our kids from one of their friends. angie says have you checked the cows? papa built cattle gaurd for drive. so we search 80 acres of ponds trees and pasture for hours. NO COWS now where can 3 cows a steer a bull and a 4 week calf hide and chew cud? i had planned on going home and hibernating. not the case. we had 4 cars and walked everywhere a car could not go. well the 80 acres are in back of the house. NO ONE thinks they are off property. so now we are driving highway. NO COWS. so it was papas job to take this road ACROSS the street and check. we called animal control. no cows found. so it ended up they walked right across and down the road and the neighbor opened the gate and they went in.she did not know whos they were. she called the neighborhood hay man jim. he said white calf black ears i know that group. we are getting a reputation not sure its good. so glad no one was hurt. we parked cars with flashers and had folks help and we ran them home.they happily walked right on his cattle gaurd no problem. woops so gonna have to change that. lol it was so fun and exciting. the cows were calm and walked home. the folks we met at the farm were so nice. my granddaughter is going to get to learn about horses at her place. happy days on the farm. my butt muscles are screaming. LOTS of climbing and walking today. it was a warm day with sun. i try so hard to be smarter than the cow and i lose. happy days sherrye

Hey, you should know when an animal wants out nothing will stop them! I am so glad you found them and they are all together and ok. And what a good neighbor. And you didn't have to shoot any of them! What a day.

Kris
