Posted - Apr 20 2010 : 10:44:15 PM Girls, I am going to get my new puppy in two weeks. This probably should not go in barn yard buddies but I could not figure out where to put it. First of all I have large outdoor rescues- 1 pyrenees and 2 labs but this is a little lap warmer puppy. She is a shihtzu/poodle cross. I have not "met" her yet but I have pictures. She was born in February. I am an herbalist and she will be going to work with me some of the time. Also in a year or so I will set up a office here on the farm.
We have a number of animals and it seems like all the names have been taken. Of course, I know I will have to see her to really know which name fits but the only name that has come to mind is Sunshine. As we have gone through some tough times this year. We need a little sunshine.
Last year when someone dumped the lab pups I bottle raised them. A boy and girl. So I would feed one and say "now let me feed brother" Or "now I feed sister" So you know their names? Brother and Sister. They are both black Labs (mostly)
So I need names for the new puppy and I would not mind at all getting ideas for Brother and Sister to have name changes.
Does anyone have ideas?

Posted - Apr 22 2010 : 10:47:32 PM Thank you all for the suggestions. We will see when I meet her. I do not know how to post pictures here at MJF but I have her on my face book page.
Feel free to offer more ideas. I really liked angelica. Basil and catnip- good idea for the large lab pups as the female gives tha barn cats nightmares. She does not try to kill them but she chases and nips at them.
