a small pot belly, 50#s or so should get about a cup of pig chow 2 x a day, and some fruit and veggys also, they will eat themselves into total obesity, so don't think you are starving them at this amount. As far as breeding goes, they have the same gestation period as any pig. Pot beeys are prone to uterine cancer, so my advice is to have her spayed, she will be a better pet for it, as they can become real testy when they are in heat.

Hey Susie--yeah, mammals arent like reptiles--there really is no way to try to control their size by with-holding food. They will get bone problems (rickets, etc), joint problems, immune issues and much more and so you'll end up paying an arm and leg keeping them healthy.

I do not know about breeding. Now I do not understand the question, how much to feed to keep them small. All pot bellies are smaller then reg. farm pigs. If you with hold feed they can develop lots of med. issues.
My male pot, Chris is not huge-75lbs.or so. he is short happy and sassy. he lives with a llama and horse. he gets all our scraps from the fridge and 1/2 pound of feed everyday. You must feed a good feed when they are young. I used good old pig grower feed.
Good luck and enjoy.

God Bless
