Madeline FINALLY had her babies last night!! She started bagging up on Saturday afternoon, I just knew she would have them Saturday night! I checked her a jazillion times yesterday but nothing! This morning, there they were! Doesn't she know she is supposed to wait for me before she has them because I like to help!! Anyway, mom is an Alpine and dad is a Nubian. The babies have the Nubie ears and long legs and roman nose and the Alpine markings. They are SOOO cute!! Abigail is the darker one. I'm so glad I got at least one doe, I am going to keep her. I will try training Brodie to be either a cart or a pack goat, if that doesn't work, in the freezer he will go!

Candy, they are such little cuties! I just love those ears. I am lovin' all over mine all the time now. I can't help it, they're so sweet. I'll probably do the same thing with some of mine. I'd like to train them for something.

Awe...such cute babies! It still amazes me so much how animals can walk hours after they're born!

Your mountains are dreamy by the way! I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and now I live in the flat state of Michigan :( Poo!
