Posted - Mar 29 2010 : 09:55:29 AM Madeline FINALLY had her babies last night!! She started bagging up on Saturday afternoon, I just knew she would have them Saturday night! I checked her a jazillion times yesterday but nothing! This morning, there they were! Doesn't she know she is supposed to wait for me before she has them because I like to help!! Anyway, mom is an Alpine and dad is a Nubian. The babies have the Nubie ears and long legs and roman nose and the Alpine markings. They are SOOO cute!! Abigail is the darker one. I'm so glad I got at least one doe, I am going to keep her. I will try training Brodie to be either a cart or a pack goat, if that doesn't work, in the freezer he will go!

Posted - Mar 29 2010 : 12:01:08 PM Candy, they are such little cuties! I just love those ears. I am lovin' all over mine all the time now. I can't help it, they're so sweet. I'll probably do the same thing with some of mine. I'd like to train them for something.
