some of you know i have a cow due to calve in april. well happy days. she calved early. i was hoping for anything with dominant white. hoping for a heifer. yesterday at 3 she had a white heifer. she is naturally polled. mom is a dexter belted cross. we used a white dexter bull. she is so tiny. little black hooves and nose and ears. she has some black in spots. i know she will get blacker as she gets older. got the bo-se in her right away. cold wind snow yesterday. today snow. they have no shelter. dexters are tough. we clear today and it gets warmer.

Baby calfs are so adorable !!! My husband used to milk cows and raise up some little ones on a bottle .. very cute indeed..those eyes ! Enjoy!

Oh I am doing the Funny Farm HAPPY Dance for you and your new addition. I can not wait to see photo's but I understand life gets in the way. Just know we are pulling for Mother and Little One.

I bet she's just the cutest little thing. I have never seen a white Dexter though. Only black. I bet he's a handsome fella. Congratulations on the little sweetie. Yay, fresh milk!!!
