My daughter n son in law n grandson went with me to go to our local Tractor supply to pick up some bearings for my hubby's small windmill. Soon as we got inside, he took off to the back of the store and I just knew why...Them baby chicks and ducks were in those metal bins, just talking up a storm..so did we go home with few?
Yes, we did..cuz his momma and daddy bought them and Mikey-grandson said--They can stay here at Nana's house! along with my other chickens, and baby chicks and baby ducks..sigh...so we got 6 baby chicks and 3 baby brown color ducks..LOL...will take a pic tonite since I told him they needed to eat and rest abit before you start handling them...sheeze..ought to spank my grown kids for doing this to me...
UPDATE: Pic of grandson w his chick named Brandi

Aw, what a good nana you are! He knew you would be the best one to take care of his new pets. How sweet. That's why I don't take my hubby or grands with me anymore.

Aww Nadine, don't ya know that we Nana's have a very very big soft spot for.....chicksnducks and grandchildren?!!! That is so cute, Mikey knew that they would be able to stay at your house!
My grandchildren- the oldest 5 that can talk already have my chicks named.....and they won't be here for 2 1/2 weeks yet! They also have our future puppies named, which, please, won't happen for at least a year!
Yep~! Spank the grown children, give the little ones(Mikey and chicks and ducks!) a kiss for me! :)

What a good grandma. Mikey is very lucky!!

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!
