Posted - Mar 05 2010 : 09:51:29 AM Well I just found out this morning that Esther is not due in May. She is DUE IN APRIL!!! I was going through some papers on my desk and I found one that said Esther went into heat on November 1st. I had it in my mind that I bred her in December. So she is 4 months pregnant now not 2 month pregnant as I thought. Oh boy!! Ready or not here they come! lol Hugs, Channah

Posted - Mar 05 2010 : 4:31:57 PM It is exciting!!
Megan, I have 4 goats right now. Esther, Joey, Sadie, and Ebony Jane. I am pretty sure that Esther is pregnant with twins!
Kris, I hope everything goes alright for you!! I'll be praying!! I am excited don't get me wrong, but it is hard to juggle school, extra school classes, swaps, chores, my business, etc. I am very grateful that I am homeschooled so I can make up the work I don't do. But I am very excited! I think everything will work out great!!
Rae, I don't know about that. I had no idea when Sadie was going to kid. I wasn't even going to breed her but Joey got out and the rest is history. lol But I did pin point when Esther got pregnant and when she should kid. We shall see!!
Hugs, Channah

Posted - Mar 05 2010 : 3:57:08 PM Cnannah, one of mine might go a little earlier than I thought. While I was feeding them this afternoon, Faith couldn't even get up on the stanchion. I noticed some gooey stuff on the floor where she was standing and her back end looks like she's had some discharge. So it could be any day now! I hope not tonight. It's going to be really cold. Sat or sun would be perfect though during the day. She usually had hers in the daytime. I am so excited! I know you are too. I love this time of year.

Posted - Mar 05 2010 : 3:18:59 PM Channah, you are going to have your hands full! How many goats do you have? I know you have Ebony Jane, Sadie, and the boy who got Sadie pregnant with Ebony. Just curious! God's Blessings, Megan
