A friend I know on another forum has www.marestare.com set up in the stable. The mare is due or overdue and has been acting restless all day. If you want to peek in you might be lucky and see the event! It's Bear Creek Ranch on the cams.

Alee, I had that thing on til it got dark then it seemed to just go out. I wanted to see it. I'm glad it's over for her, though. She looked like she was just pooped toward the end.

A beautiful little filly was born last night! Cam 1 seems to be the best one to view.

Hi Shery!

I got to help with my first foaling last year in June and it was amazing. There is nothing like holding that wet baby in your arms right afterwards is there? The ranch that I worked at/helped at in Idaho does imprinting as well.

Ribbon is beautiful! I love her dam, you can tell she is beautiful and very kind. I bet she is a sweetheart.

I wish I had been there for when my horse was born but they did an excellent job with her. You can do anything with her!

Foaling is so exciting. Anxiety, sleepness nights for sometimes weeks...and wonderful anticipation. Then the event!! We've been raising horses for going on 20 years and I've been witness to many births...by intent, so that I could imprint train the foals. I've backed off of breeding due to getting older and a slow market. Here is a photo collage of my last foal. Her saddle training will start this spring as she's soon to be 3. She is a registered Morgan Horse...registered name is "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" aka 'Ribbon'. I named her after my Grandpa who was the last generation of the 'horse soldiers' - the cavalry. He was also my mentor and hero. Here's Ribbon when she entered the world and shortly thereafter. I own the dam (Chickie) and sire (Jazz). I hope the Arabian mare foaled safely and that there is now a beautiful foal at her side.

No Kris, that is just the main page-mare stare has hundreds of cameras out there on different horses. Here's the link to watch this lady:

Alee, did she already have it? I see a mare laying down with a foal covered in a blanket.
