Posted - Jan 15 2010 : 2:44:05 PM My two Nigerian Dwarf does need to be breed, and I have decided to not rent a buck this time. I have a breeder who has a registered buck she needs to sell, and an appointment to go out and see him. He has good diary bloodlines and I hope we like him and bring him home. Pictures, of course, after he gets here.

Posted - Jan 18 2010 : 07:42:51 AM Cajungal, I checked with some of those around your area, the three that got back with me have young (under a year old) unproven boys for sale at very high prices. This boy will be 5 in July and has good bloodlines and even some championship does in his line. Hope he is all we are looking for. Thanks, for the heads up, I just hope I don't have to start looking again. BTW, his registered name is Alexander Farm TX BW BOY, and my hubby has decided to call him "Al".

Posted - Jan 16 2010 : 4:34:18 PM Kathryn, That's great. I was searching around on craigslist today between our area and Bryan/College Station and there were some Nigerian Dwarfs listed.....if you need more.

My hubby just brought home a "rented" REG. Boer buck for our 1st timer girls. He looks really nice, so maybe we can raise up a new buck if it's in the cards.
