Hi all,
Is anyone hatching chicks ?? I am looking for some day old Bantam chicks if any one has some for sale or trade. Either smooth or feathered legged. My Dh has to have a few.

Our feed store will let us order a few varieties - Banties not included so thats why I have to look elsewhere. I see that Ideal has a great variety !!! Now my post office will get to peek at chicks!

Ideal is great. I've ordered from them for several years. It is so much fun to go to the post office to pick up a box of cheeping babies. It's usually the talk of the whole post office and the staff can't wait to see who is picking them up so the box can be opened and everyone gets a peek.
One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt." |

Cindy, some of the hatcheries are clearing their fall hatches, Ideal Poultry in Cameron, Texas has sent me emails, as recent as last week, with some of their speical and they ship chicks.
