Posted - Jan 09 2010 : 12:17:04 PM Where have these been all my life?!!! We have 2 chicken pens and my kiddos are the ones responsible for taking care of them--in the winter, however, it seems like I'm always taking water out to them and bringing buckets of ice in to thaw (or breaking them out)--well this winter we got two heated dog bowls (each holds a gallon) at TSC (19.99 each) and they are WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! Wow! I'm so amazed/impressed and my kids are back to taking total care of the chickens! |

Posted - Jan 09 2010 : 8:39:28 PM I never thought I would have a need for such a thing but after being below freezing for over a week now I am tired of carrying warm water to the coops two or three times a day! I need to look into getting a few of these!
