Posted - Dec 23 2009 : 07:21:32 AM We have 4 cats too. The girls only love me when I have a food bag, or the water bowl needs filling. One of the male cats follows me around and howls if I dont pick him up first thing BEFORE coffee!

Posted - Dec 23 2009 : 05:03:10 AM I have 6 cats. 5 are outside and are super lovable. They are the kind that rub all over the legs if I'm standing still. Which is not much when I'm outside, except hanging clothes. The inside cat, Soshe, is getting to be more lovable. She lays on my ottoman when I'm watching tv and sleeps at the foot of my bed when it's cold. In warmer weather she sleeps other places. But I think both the guys and girls are about the same here. They are attention seekers for sure.

Posted - Dec 22 2009 : 7:53:22 PM Mine are pretty much the same. The boys and girls are equally lovable. All of them sleep with me. I have found that the ladies like to lay on me while the boys like to lay beside me. I woke up once with all of them laying on my legs with a dog on either side of my legs. Think I woke up because I couldn't move.

Posted - Dec 22 2009 : 11:06:22 AM My two boys, Jack Sprat The Babycat, and Professor Pumpkin, both rough-and-tumble Tomcats who were rescued from a life of crime, are SUPER lovers! Our female cat, Stooka, passed away this Summer, but she was very standoffish and really wanted nothing more from you than food.

Posted - Dec 22 2009 : 11:05:54 AM I have a male tuxedo cat named "Mufasa"! He is the most lovable and snuggley cat. He loves attention and being stroked and petted on my lap. Seems he just can't get enough. Now for my female "Zoey" who is a tabby. She is known as the "Ice Princess". Only wants attention on her terms! She can snuggle next to you and if you pet her and she doesn't want to be bothered she'll give you more than a love nibble! I don't know if gender has anything to do with their disposition. I had a female cat in the past and she was so pleasant!

Posted - Dec 22 2009 : 11:00:36 AM Terri: This post caught my sight fast! I love, love, love cats. I agree, male cats are more lovable. My first cat was a male cat named Henry Dragon. I will forever be in love with that cat until the day I meet him in Heaven (I hope). I'd love to see a picture of your cat. Marly

Posted - Dec 22 2009 : 10:56:47 AM Terri, I have 3 indoor cats, 2 males and 1 female. If I sit down, the 2 boys will argue about who gets my lap, the female comes over to say "hi", then goes on her merry way. The boys sleep with me, the girl does not. So at least with mine, YES, the boys are more loveable.
