I'm so excited! A blog friend emailed me last week and asked if I wanted all of her bee equipment for FREE! Two complete hives, four supers, several frames, smoker, hood, gloves, medication, foundation and other stuff. I, of course, said yes and when I went to get them--we found out that both hives were active (she thought the beees had swarmed!) So I got two very well established hives and I am so excited. And I've only been stung once so far. Note to self: no flayling and running when bee gets stuck in hair. Check.

Fingers crossed for HONEY next year!

Smiles,
Lisa

Haha, yes, you'd prolly want to keep the hair pinned back. I have three hives and work with other "new-bees" :) I'm sure you'll find it a rewarding experience!

Congrats on the bees. I wish you much success with them. They are wonderful little creatures when they aren't flying around your head.
