I wasnt going to ever have ducks again. My Hubby doest like them. But this nice (older than me couple, disabled,) asked me to take in a pair of pekin drakes that were left at the lake where they live in the early summer/ The guy who dropped them off there was back a few days ago to catch them and take them back home, after all that time, anyway I agreed to keep them here until spring.so that the creep couldnt have them for thanksgiving dinner/ I'm glad I did. they both jumped out of the back of the truck into my arms and I swear they hugged me!

That's so sweet, Lorraine. Very good of you to take them in. Ducks are so cute. But I will never have any more myself. Too messy and they eat baby chicks and guineas. So no more here. Have fun with yours, though. Do you have a pond? I just had a little kiddie pool for mine. And when we have lots of rain we have a pond at the bottom of the yard they would swim in.
