Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 04:51:19 AM I was so excited yesterday. I found 5 eggs! Of course they were not in the nests that I have made for them. I was beginning to think that Buffs don't lay eggs! I got them in May, and it seemed like it took them longer to mature. Happy Days now though!!

Posted - Nov 01 2009 : 06:44:28 AM UPDATE FROM UPDATE! Chickens are back safe and sound. My wonderful husband chased them all around until they scooted back under the place they escaped from. It probably scared them to death. I might not get eggs for a few days. At least they are home. Sigh----

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 11:49:06 AM UPDATE!! I may never get another egg! The chickens got over into the pig lot. I am not sure we will be able to get them back. The pig lot is 1/2 acre, with mean ole pigs in it!! Figures, I get excited about something and something happens!
