Posted - Oct 03 2009 : 09:09:45 AM Well Max went and done it. Max is an inside rabbit. His cage sits up off the floor in front of the window sill. Well we also keep some plants in this windowsill. But I try to keep them turned so he can't get a hold of them. I guess Hallie watered the 4 o'clocks the other day and didn't pay any mind to how she put the pot back in the window. By the time she went back into the kitchen her plant was nothing but nubs! And Max- well he feels like he's put on about 5 pounds. LOL
Matthew has a lima bean plant from school that is just going crazy sitting in the window. Yeah I moved that to the cabinet so Max doesn't have it for dinner.

Posted - Oct 03 2009 : 10:41:41 PM how fun a house bunny. when my 40 yr. old son was 2 or three we had a bunny who was trained to a litterbox under our claw foot tub. he slept with my son who sucked his thumb and rub the bunny fur. the bunny loved it. you would hear the bunny go down the stairs thump thump and then back up to bed. need i say his name was silky. he was a good bunny. |

Posted - Oct 03 2009 : 6:48:47 PM I had a houserabbit named Bertha for about 10 years before she passed away. She would also get the "nibbles" on occasion. I think the funniest was when I was sprawled on the floor correcting student papers. I looked over and she was nibbling on the corner of some of the papers.
I had to tell my students "sorry, my bunny ate your homework". They loved it!
