Thanks, Lorie and Maggie! So glad that you've enjoyed the blog and the books, I'm so happy to hear that! :-)

As far as deworming your rabbits, there are many differing opinions on the subject. Some people deworm their rabbits regularly, others only on occasion, and some never do. There's a very interesting discussion on the topic at this link:
http://www.homesteadingtoday.com/showthread.php?t=292619 , but I would recommend talking with a veterinarian first in order to be sure that you're administering the appropriate dosage. :-)

Thanks again!

Samantha

OMG Samantha I had no idea that was you!

My son and I just started into the rabbit breeding/showing game last March and your book was the first one I purchased and read cover to cover several times before hopping in. I will definately bookmark your blog as I love your book and refer to it all the time.

I am getting the rabbits ready for my first show without my son. He usually shows our Jersey Woolies in the youth class but he went with dad to see the Grandparents so i will be showing in the open class for the first time.

Maggie my rabbit breeder friends use Ivermec for cattle on their rabbits but I have yet to deworm myself. Hopefully Samantha can gives us some good tips.

Oh, I love your blog Samantha! I do have one question for you. What rabbit wormer do you use? We are soon going to worm our rabbits for the first time and are at lost on which one to use. Thanks!
Maggie
