This afternoon we helped support our local humane society and participated in a dog swim party.

One of the golf courses graciously opens their pool for this event prior to closing for the season.

I think all total there were probably 20+ dogs there.

Day's stats are as follows

Number of tennnis balls retrieved out of the water: too many to count
Number of times Jaz peed on the pool deck: 4
Number of poops on pool deck: 1
Lots of water ingensted hence all the bodily functions going on and thankfully not IN the water
Number of kids engaged in playing with just my dog: 4 (no other dogs were wanting to engage humans like this)
Number of bloody toenails: all 8 back ones from Jaz leaping off the pool deck

Number of tired dogs sleeping right now? 1 for sure in THIS household!

It was a great day being able to spend it not only with my dog, but also with hubby and my parents

You couldn't have asked for better weather!

Sure hope everyone's end of summer festivities were as celebratory
