My bff, Susan, is originally from Ohio. She goes 'home' every other weekend to visit her mom and dad. Last weekend, she kept hearing a bird whose call sounded to her like a very clear 'kickapoo'. She asked me to 'ask the farmgirls' if anyone has any idea what bird it might be.

It sounds like it might have been a Summer Tanager. It's the only completely red bird in North America! :D
