Posted - Jul 24 2009 : 08:22:08 AM I think you're right about him getting dust in his eye. My brother has been mowing our big field, so there's always alot of dust around. And the hay I'm giving them is really dusty too. I just wasn't sure what to give him. So I should just wash it out with water? Thank you! Maggie |

Posted - Jul 24 2009 : 05:32:13 AM I sure hope it's not pink eye. I had a goat just recently that had a cloudy eye. I got a small tube of Terramycin and put it in the eye twice a day for several days. It's all better now. But my vet said it was not pink eye. The hay I am using now is really dusty like and it could have been some got in her eye and irritated it. I thought it might have been a cataract, too. She's 7. And I also have a borrowed doe with horns that could have had something to do with it also. So there are so many things that it could be. I hope he's ok soon. And try not to worry too much!
